EXTENDED SCHOOL YEAR (ESY) PROGRAM (ALL LEVELS)

Physical Therapist (Certification Required)

Ashland Public Schools is seeking a dynamic physical therapist with previous experience to support our special education summer program.

Dates/Times: 5 weeks: July 8, 2024 through August 8, 2024 (Building times will vary slightly: Mondays 4 hours with students, Tuesday through Thursday 3.5 hours with students and equivalent preparation times per day; for every 3 hours worked an additional 1 hour of preparation time is given/paid for). 

Responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing programs for children with occupational therapy needs
• Delivering small group and individual direct instruction per students individual IEPs
• Completing all special education related paperwork (summer note)
• Communication with parents
• Planning daily lessons/activities 
• Scheduling service times with teachers/families
• Supporting special education teachers (as needed)

Anticipated Salary:

(The number of positions needed is contingent upon student enrollment; positions will be given to those with certification)

$42 per hour for Physical Therapist
