Grade 4 Dual Educator

The Mindess School is seeking a grade 4 Dual Educator, an individual who is certified in both general education grades 1-6 and special education PK-8, moderate disabilities.  The opening is for the 2024-2025 academic year. 

Responsibilities include, and are not limited to: 

• fostering an inclusive and joyful learning environment
• lesson planning and implementation in accordance with the MA Curriculum Frameworks 
• administering and analyzing assessments
• data collection to inform instruction 
• writing progress reports specific to individual student goals
• developing and implementing Individualized Educational Program (IEP) plans for students to include:
• present levels of educational performance, special education needs, instructional goals and objectives, and
• the special education and related services required to meet those goals
• -Coordinates the delivery of special education services in each student’s IEP
• communicating responsibly with students, parents, colleagues, and school leadership
