The Mindess School is seeking a grade 3-5 classroom teacher for the 2026-2027 academic school year. Mindess is a vibrant learning community dedicated to academic excellence and the social emotional growth of every student. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Creating an inclusive, engaging, and joyful classroom environment.
• Planning and delivering instruction aligned with the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks. 
• Administering and analyzing assessments to guide instruction.
• Collecting and using data to inform teaching practices.
• Communicating effectively with students, families, colleagues, and school leadership.
• Supporting and maintaining classroom expectations, routines, and school-wide norms.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required

Degree in education preferred valid teaching license

Prior teaching in upper elementary grades preferred

Strong classroom management and communication skills

Ability to build rapport with students and foster a positive, inclusive learning environment Flexibility, reliability, and a collaborative mindset
