Ashland Public Schools is seeking to find a dynamic high school administrator to join our team. The Assistant Principal/Dean of Students works with the principal and other AHS administration to establish and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, students, parents and the community. The role is that of an assistant principal with a 205 day contract.

 

Duties include but are not limited to:

Co-lead administrator in managing student discipline for the school

Consistently enforces school attendance rules and regulations with respect to the Student Handbook, Federal and State laws, regulations and student rights

Observes and evaluates faculty members

Participates on school-wide and district teams such as PBIS and RTI

Attends and and supervises co-curricular events

Performs additional duties as assigned by the principal

  

 

The ideal candidate has a minimum of three years of successful teaching experience and Massachusetts Certification as an assistant principal or supervisor/director. The ability to work in a collaborative environment is a must. A Bachelor's degree is required, Master's degree is preferred.
